The name BANOGLAWIN
is a Tagalog word meaning weathercock.
It is a vane, properly one in the semblance of a cock,
which turns to indicate the direction of the wind.
Since a Banoglawin can be thought of symbolizing travel, too
~ it turns to and you travel the wind direction ~
we thought it is an appropriate name for the publication
where news travel from one direction to another.
